Recycling Permits Available Now for 2019

Effective January 1, 2019, there will be a set fee for residents of Columbia County utilizing the Columbia County Solid Waste stations for handling recyclable materials.

Residents will need to purchase a permit annually and have it displayed on their vehicle for the station attendants to view. The County will provide two (2) sticklers per household.

The permit fee structure is as follows:

  • Residents of Columbia County: $50.00 per household
  • Residents over the age of 65 years: $35.00 per household
  • Out of County Residents: $100.00 per household

The permits will be available at the Town Clerk’s Office in Clermont after December 17th or all of the Columbia County Solid Waste stations.

Please bring proof of residency with you to the office in the form of a tax bill, sewer/water bill, electric bill or any other form of identification that shows proof of property ownership in Columbia County.
