FIRE COMMISSIONERS MEETING

February 6, 2006

The Clermont Fire Commissioners held their regular meeting on Monday, February 6, 2006. Present were Supervisor Banks, Commissioner Staats, Commissioner Lent and Commissioner Harned. Commissioner Nolan was absent. Chief Laurence Saulpaugh was also present.

Supervisor Banks opened the meeting. Commissioner Harned made a motion; seconded by Commissioner Lent to waive the reading of the minutes as copies were provided and to accept them. All in favor. So carried.

Chief Saulpaugh had no report for January. He reported that all trucks have been serviced. The van has gotten a new exhaust system. They have had a new member join the fire department.

The Chief is also obtaining specs for a new truck from Garrison and Ralph Torchia. He will have to obtain one additional spec to comply with the law for bids.

Commissioner Lent reported that the Easter Egg Hunt would be held on Saturday, April 15^th from 12:00 P.M to 2:00 P.M. and asked for the Fire Departments assistance with parking, etc.

David Rogers, representative from RBC Dain Rauscher, investment firm, made a presentation regarding transferring Length of Service Awards Program funds from UBS to Dain Rauscher.

A motion was made by Commissioner Lent, seconded by Commissioner Harned to transfer funds for LOSAP from UBS to Dain Rauscher. Supervisor Banks called for a roll call vote:

Lent – aye, Harned – aye, Staats – aye, Banks – aye.

All in favor. So carried.

A motion was made by Commissioner Lent, seconded by Commissioner Harned to pay abstract #2, vouchers #2-20 in the amount of $6,577.52. All in favor. So carried.

A motion was made to adjourn by Commissioner Harned, seconded by Commissioner Lent at 7:05 P.M. All in favor.
