The Town of Clermont has received verbal notification from the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) that the project to remediate the Town property located north of the Town Hall will begin on or about August 1, 2016. The project to be completed in accordance with DEC regulations and specifications, is expected to last 6-8 weeks and will be completed by an independent contractor hired by and under the direction of the DEC. The work entrances for the project will be a newly constructed entrance on Route 9 and possibly the entrance to the Town Little League field off County Route 6.
