So carried.
The
Fire Company has been researching the ownership of the land and building which
houses the Districts trucks at Station #2 on Route 9G. There is a deed dated
May 2, 1960 in which the Town of Clermont sold the land back to the Fire
Company. For years, it was believed that the Town was in ownership of the land
and the building, which house the trucks. As it turns out, the Fire Company
owns both building and land, and the fire trucks are stored in the building by
the District. The Fire Company was exploring expanding the present truck bays
and with the ownership situation might be able to secure a loan with the
collateral being a lease from the District to continue to house the trucks at
Station #2. The construction costs might be lower for the Company to secure
than the District having to go to bid on the work. The Fire Company will
explore the building costs and bring it back to the Fire Commissioners after
going to the membership. The Committee is Chief Saulpaugh, Jim Potts, Sr.,
Bruce Potts, William Banks, Harry Harned and Fred Lang.

The
Easter Egg Hunt will be held on Saturday, April 10 from 12-2 PM. The firemen
