CLERMONT PLANNING BOARD

DECEMBER 9, 2015

The Clermont Planning Board held its regular meeting on Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at 7:30 P.M. at the Town Hall. Those in attendance were Chairman Laurence Saulpaugh, Clayton Andrus, Thomas Jantzen, Mary Howard, Jennifer Phillips, Ronald Miller and Nathan Hempel. Others present were George Schmitt, Engineer for the Town, Matthew Griesemer, Attorney for the Town and Robert Desmond.

Chairman Saulpaugh opened the meeting.

MINUTES: After review of the November minutes, a motion was made by Jennifer Phillips, seconded by Nathan Hempel to approve the minutes. All in favor. So carried.

A letter of resignation was submitted to the board from Mary Helen Shannon, Secretary effective January 1, 2015. She has enjoyed her years of working with board.

There were no new applications to come before the board.

RAYMOND TOUSEY: 1783 Route 9 – Tax Map ID#181.3-1-6.110

Mr. Tousey has requested an update on his application for a special events venue and addition of a 10 x 20 shed on his barn, housing the special events. The Planning Board approved the special events venue by resolution and did agree to the ZBA decision’s on the addition. According to our engineer, Mr. Tousey does have to have his final approval from DOT on the entrance to the site before he can operate.

With no other business, a motion was made to adjourn by Mary Howard, seconded by Nathan Hempel at 7:55 P.M.
