Members attending: Hank, Don, Luke

 

Hank opens with a salute to the flag and then starts the Public hearing: Luke made the motion to open
the public hearing and Don seconds it. The hearing for Ray Tousey opened at 7:30 PM

Ray presents the board with the certified receipts for the neighbor notifications. Hank states that there
is a letter of response from the Clermont Planning Board of our request for a recommendation from
them. A copy is placed in the file. Ray explains that the lean to style shed will be on the west side. It will
have electric for a light. He will have a lock for the door. No cement floor. It will be used for storage.

Hank asks if anyone has any questions. He states that he is going to make it out of the tin siding and
roof. He is not sure what he will make the doors out of.

Hank asks for a motion to close the public hearing. Luke makes the motion, Don Seconds, all are in favor
and the hearing is closed at 7:40 pm.

Hank opens the regular meeting at 7:40 pm Hank asks for a motion to accept the minutes of the last
meeting as presented The board completes the short SEQRA form. Hank asks for a motion to accept the
SEQR as completed. Luke makes the motion, Don seconds it and all are in favor. The motion is carried.

Old business: Hanks talks about voting on Ralph Arlyck’s application for solar panel installation at 122
Old Road, Germantown, NY. Hank asks for a roll call vote for 50 foot variance, Don votes yes, Luke votes
yes, Hank votes yes. All are in favor. He will get a 25 foot variance. This will allow him to put the
structure 50 feet from his property line of the front yard. Tami will send the applicant a letter and copy
John Fieser. Note to John Fieser that there is no fence around the swimming pool. The shading and all
details from the granting of the special permit carries with this approval.

Verizon speaks regarding fencing on map C4C. It will be a barbed wire fence. The purpose of this fence is
to keep the cattle out of that area. That is the only change that has been made. The ZBA needs to vote
on this application. This fence was a contingency to the approval of the application. Hank asks for a roll
call vote to approve the permit. Don votes yes, Luke votes yes and Hank votes yes. The wire fence is a
part of the stipulation to the permit.

 


 

Three is no other old business.

New business: There is a copy of the schooling that has been handed out on Oct. 5th.

Hank asks for a motion to make a motion to accept the minutes of the August meeting. Don makes a
motion, Luke seconds it. All are in favor and the minutes are accepted.

 

Hank asks for any other business. There is none. Hank asks for a motion to adjourn the meeting. Don
makes the motion, Luke seconds it. All are in favor and the meeting is adjourned at 8:11 pm.
