The Clermont Planning Board held its regular meeting on Wednesday, May

11, 2016 at 7:30 P.M. at the Town Hall. Those in attendance were Chairman

Laurence Saulpaugh, Clayton Andrus, Mary Howard, Jennifer Phillips,

Ronald Miller and Tom Jantzen. Others present were George Schmitt,

Engineer for the Town, Matthew Griesemer, Attorney for the Town.

Chairman Saulpaugh opened the meeting. After review of the April 2016

minutes, needed corrections were noted and a motion was made by Tom

Jantzen, seconded by Jennifer Phillips, to accept the minutes. All in favor.

So carried.

A motion was made to close the meeting and open the scheduled public

hearing by Clayton Andrus and seconded by Mary Howard. All in favor. So

seeking a waiver for screening for ground mounted solar panels since the

panels will not be visible from surrounding properties. A provision was made

should the property be subdivided in the future, screening would be needed.

No one was in attendance to speak for or against the project during the public

hearing.

A motion was made by Jennifer Philips, seconded by Ron Miller to close the

public hearing. All in favor. So carried.

SEQRA: After review by the Chairman, a motion was made to declare a

negative declaration by Clayton Andrus, seconded by Jennifer Philips. All in

favor. So carried.

A motion was made by Mary Howard to accept the application with the

provision should the property be subdivided in the future, screening would be

needed because it complies with the comprehensive plan, conserves energy

and preserves agricultural land. Seconded by Ron Miller. All in favor. So

carried.

With no other business, a motion was made to adjourn by Jennifer Phillips

and seconded by Mary Howard at 8:35 P.M.
