CLERMONT PLANNING BOARD
October 12, 2016
The Clermont Planning Board held its regular meeting on Wednesday,October 12, 2016 at 7:30 P.M. at the Town Hall. Those in attendance wereChairman Laurence Saulpaugh, Clayton Andrus, Mary Howard, RonaldMiller, Jennifer Phillips and Tom Jantzen. Others present were GeorgeSchmitt, Engineer for the Town, Matthew Griesemer, Attorney for the Town.
Chairman Saulpaugh opened the meeting.
After review of the September2016 minutes, a motion was made by Clayton Andrus, seconded by TomJantzen, to accept the minutes. All in favor. So carried.
Hudson Solar, Jeff Irish with Jesse Cutaia, presented an update site planfor the Loveland property located at 3847 Route 9G, Tax Map ID#168.-1-13,reflecting the new ZBA ruling regarding set backs. To meet National Code,8’ deer fencing will be used as well as trees and bushes for screening. It wasnoted by Mary Howard and Jennifer Phillips lighting was not indicated on thesite plan. It will be added as discussed. Larry Saulpaugh recommended theFire Department needs to OK the access road for adequate passage for thefire trucks. A motion was made by Tom Jantzen for a Public Hearing to beheld by the Planning Board at the November 9th meeting. Seconded by RonMiller. All in favor, with the exception of Mary Howard. So carried.
Hearty Roots Farm, Ben Shute, Hearty Roots Farm wants farm laborhousing on the second floor of the main building. George Schmitt questionedif there was an existing septic system. A new system was put in at the time ofpurchase. The project would be exempt due to the Department of Ag andMarkets rules.
Motion to close was made by Mary Howard and seconded by Tom Jantzen.All in favor. So carried.The meeting was closed at 9:50 P.M.
