CLERMONT PLANNING BOARD
November 9, 2016
The Clermont Planning Board held its regular meeting on Wednesday,November 9, 2016 at 7:30 P.M. at the Town Hall. Those in attendance were Chairman Laurence Saulpaugh, Clayton Andrus, Mary Howard, Ronald Miller, Jennifer Phillips, Nathan Hempel and Tom Jantzen. Others present were GeorgeSchmitt, Engineer for the Town, Matthew Griesemer, Attorney for the Town.
Chairman Saulpaugh opened the meeting.
After review of the October2016 minutes, a motion was made by Mary Howard and seconded by Jennifer Phillips,to accept the minutes. All in favor. So carried.
Motion to close the general meeting and open the Public Hearing for the Loveland property was made by Tom Jantzen with second by Mary Howard.

A variance will be considered for set back from 50’ to 38’ by the ZBA. 6’ fixed wirefencing it to be used. One change in the site plan is the shape by making the layoutlonger and more narrow due to the proposed set back change. Question was raised byJennifer Phillips regarding a proposed motion light to switched light due to the wildlifesetting off the motion light at the gate. It was decided the 100 watt bulb at 600’ wouldnot impact neighbors.
The Public Hearing will be continued at the December 14, 2016 meeting.
Motion was made by Tom Jantzen to return to the regular meeting. Secondby Clayton Andrus.
HV Air Dog Sean Gillard, a neighbor of the proposed location for the HV Air Dog presented his concern and question regarding the close proximity of the activity and possible noise.
At this time there is not approval by the ZBA or a submitted site plan to the PlanningBoard.
Discussion was held with Bob Desmond informing the Panning Board members of theprogress made and remaining work to be done on the Hettling property remediation.
Motion to close was made by Jennifer Phillips, seconded by Mary Howard.
The meeting was closed at 8:30pm.
