Hank opens the meeting at 7:30 pm with a salute to the flag.
Hank asks for a motion to accept the minutes of the October minutes. Don makes the motion, Luke seconds and all are in favor and the motion is carried.
Old Business:
Bill Cole accessory use: It has been voted. The planning board will be contacted to notify that the accessory use has been approved by the ZBA.
Hudson Solar: special use permit-The planning board accepted the application and will hold a public hearing in December. They will not act without the ZBA. Ripley Hathaway was concerned that there had been permits issued without a public hearing and no notification to neighboring property owners. Hank let her know that there have been no permits issued. The application is just in progress and no public hearings have been scheduled yet.
Hank asks for a motion to accept the application for a special permit for Hudson Solar. John makes the motion and Luke seconds it, Don and Hank also vote in favor. The motion is carried. December 28th is the next meeting will be the public hearing. Motion made by Luke and second by John. All are in favor and the public hearing will be scheduled for December 28th at 7:30pm.
Dog park discussion. There are no permits for this property as of yet and the Clermont Zoning does not reference this type of permit. For shows, it is considered a mass event. This is also not mentioned in our Zoning. John the ZEO should contact Mignorelli the land order to get a permit for a special use as he is in violation at this time. Multi use commercial needs to be addressed by the town board as it is missing from ours currently.
New Business:
Application: Manuel Pinho, located at 1551 Route 9, Tivoli, NY 12583. This is the old Welcome Inn Site. He has the deed, the application and map of the property. He does not have a survey map. The board reviews the map and sketch provided. Hank reviews the application submitted to the board. The application is for an accessory use to add an apartment. The property will change from commercial to residential. There are three land owners that bordering the property. They already have a permit for the existing metal building they use as a shop. The board will need $100 for the application fee and $200 for an escrow. Hank asks if anyone has any questions on the application. There are none. Hank asks for a motion to accept the application. Luke makes the motion, Don seconds it and all are in favor. The application is accepted. A motion to schedule the public hearing for the 28th of December at 7:45. Don makes a motion and John seconds it. All are in favor and the public hearing will be scheduled for the December meeting. Neighbors need to be notified. County Planning needs to be notified as the property is on state route 9. The application should be labeled as a special permit. He will need to go to the planning.
There is no other business. Hank asks for a motion to adjourn the meeting at 8 pm. Don makes the motion and John seconds it. All are in favor and the meeting is adjourned at 8:20 pm.
