The Clermont Planning Board held its regular meeting on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at 7:30 P.M. at the Town Hall. Those in attendance were Chairman Laurence Saulpaugh, Clayton Andrus, Mary Howard, Ronald Miller, Jennifer Phillips and Nathan Hempel. Others present were George Schmitt, Engineer for the Town, Matthew Griesemer, Attorney for the Town.

Chairman Saulpaugh opened the meeting. After review of the January 2017 minutes, a motion was made by Clayton Andrus and seconded by Mary Howard, to accept the minutes. All in favor. So carried.

Kimlin Energy, Steve King and Max Kinlin, presented to the Board for a retail outlet for propane. Their company is out of Ulster County and want to place two 30,000 gallon storage tanks on property located on 9G, north of property owned by Billy Cole. Requires a special use permit from the ZBA.

Chris Pinho, 1480 Route 9, Planning a 1 bedroom apartment. Inquired about adding a vinyl fence for screening of items for storage. He’s continuing to meet the requirements of the ZBA to clear the property and then add an apartment to the existing building.

Peter Cichetti, 3742 Route 9G (PO Box 192, Germantown), Proposed wedding venue. Presented the proposed parking area previously requested by the board. Site plan was given to Engineer George Schmitt for his review and recommendations. Walk through of the property is planned for 11:00am, March 3, 2017.

Hudson Solar, Jeff Irish, Solar array for the Loveland project located at 3847 Rt. 9G is to be set back to 50’ on the north and west boundaries. Motion to approve as corrected by Mary Howard, 2nd by Nathan Hempel. All in favor. So carried.

Motion made to close the Public Hearing and and return to the regular meeting was made by Clayton Andrus, 2nd by Ron Miller. All in favor. So carried.

Motion to adjourn was made by Mary Howard, 2nd by Nathan Hempel. All in favor. So carried. Meeting adjourned at 8:45pm.
