The meeting opened at 7:30 pm. The meeting started with a salute to the flag. Members attending: Hank Himelright, Pete Cichetti, John Rusconi, Luke Kumburis, Don Van Wagner and Phyllis Heiko.
Hank Himelright asked if anyone had any additions, corrections or omissions to the minutes of the last meeting. A motion to accept the minutes was made by Luke Kumburis, seconded byHank Himelright. All in favor. So carried.
Dawn Brownson returned before the board regarding the NY State Unified Solar Permit. Discussion was held on the reviewed information. The question was asked by Hank Himelright what the benefit would be for the town if it was put into place. Dawn explained the program would allow the town to be designated as a Clean Energy Community. Motion to proceed to the next step, meeting with Robin Reynolds of the Capital Region Economic Council, was made by Pete Cichetti, seconded by Hank Himelright. All in favor. So carried.
Windhorse Farm, 356 County Route 6, The Board discussed the site visit on October 4. Points made were screening and noise. Temporary sanitation was defined as 3 years per the Health Department regulations. Screening was recommended by Hank Himelright.
Due to the applicants failure to appear, the Public Hearing was cancelled for Windhorse Farm. The date was incorrect in the notices sent by the applicant.
There will be no meeting in November. The December meeting will be held on December 20 instead to December 27.
Motion to adjourn was made by John Rusconi, seconded by Don Van Wagner. All in favor. So carried. The meeting closed at 8:35pm.
