HHBA Minutes
Meeting of 13 January 2009
Present: Dianne O'Neal, Chair; Dagmar Payne, Louise Kalin; Angela Goetz; Claudia Teubl; Tami Connolly; Joan Buser
Several of the group put away the Christmas decorations
A Quadricentennial update was given by Angela Goetz, who described our pre-grant application, the County level meetings, and the uncertainty surrounding NY State funding. A number of fund raising ideas were suggested and discussed
The project to prep and paint the bathrooms was discussed. Dianne O'Neal will choose some alternative dates in the second half of February for this project (not the 21st).
A Christmas Concert was proposed and discussed. Dianne O'Neal suggested moving the antique piano to St. Luke's. There was very little support for this idea. Too little space and no heat were the major objections. The idea of a concert however was enthusiastically received. There are many excellent musicians in Clermont and it was felt that we could put together a very good program of music. The idea of selling the piano to raise money was discussed, and the discussion will be continued. There were strong feelings pro and con.
