SPECIAL TOWN BOARD MEETING

JANUARY 17, 2009

The Clermont Town Board met on Saturday, January 17, 2009 to review the books of the Supervisor, Town Clerk, Tax Collector and Justices and to review the policies of the Town. Those present were Supervisor Staats, Councilwoman O'Neal, Councilman Jones and Councilman Nolan. Councilwoman Lent was absent. Others present were Robert Desmond, Laurence Saulpaugh, Ray Jurkowski of Morris Associates, Joan Buser, Tax Collectior, Ronald W. F. Banks, Town Justice and Barbara Melinski, Clerk for Justice Christensen.

A review of the books was done and found to be in order. The following policies were reviewed:

Highway Personnel

Procurement

Investment

Sexual Harassment

Code of Ethics - will be further reviewed

Emergency Preparedness Plan - is in the process of being updated. Discussion on telephone system at Town Hall, generators for Community House and Town Hall.

Fixed Assets - to be updated by departments.

The meeting was adjourned at 12:15 P.M.
