CLERMONT TOWN BOARD

The Clermont Town Board held a special meeting and workshop at 6:00 P.M. to review Local Laws No. 3, Wind Energy Conversion/Wind Energy Facility; No. 4 Accessory Apartments; and No. 5 Solar Energy Equipment.
Those present were Supervisor Staats, Councilwoman O'Neal, Councilwoman Lent, Councilman Nolan and Councilman Jones. Also present were Charles Larsen, Robert Desmond, Clayton Andrus, Bruce Unson and Dagmar Payne.
The Board reviewed the proposed Local Laws for Wind Energy Conversion/Wind Energy Facility, Accessory Apartments and Solar Energy Equipment and the attached minutes by Councilwoman Lent are the result of the workshop. Councilwoman Lent had to leave the meeting at 9:35 P.M. for personal reasons.
Supervisor Staats reported that he has someone interested in taking the course for Data Collection, which will be held the week of June 1 - June 5 in Albany. He would like a motion to approve sending Ryan Mahar (Corr:Meagher) to take the course and to pay $10.00 per hour for an eight-hour day plus traveling time of two hours. The expenditure can be paid from the Supervisors line item, 1220.4. The Assessor has said that if the data collection can be done by October he can do the input by January 1st and it will help with taxes.(Corr: will take effect for next year's taxes).
MOTION: A motion was made by Councilman Jones to approve sending Ryan Maher (Corr: Meagher) to the data collection course for five days and pay $10.00 per hour for a ten hour day, seconded by Councilman Nolan. All in favor. So carried.
A motion was made to adjourn by Councilman Nolan, seconded by Councilman Jones at 10:15 P.M.
