CLERMONT PLANNING BOARD
JUNE 8, 2011
The Clermont Planning Board held their regular meeting on Wednesday, June 8, 2011 at 7:30 p.m. the Town Hall. Those in attendance were Chairman Laurence Saulpaugh, Nancy Sperry, Clayton Andrus, Aldo Dusman, Jennifer Phillips and Thomas Jantzen. Brenda Case called and was not going to be able to attend.
Also present were Robert Ihlenburg, Robert Desmond, Town Attorney Andy Howard and Town Engineer George Schmitt.
Chairman Saulpaugh opened the meeting. A roll call vote was held.
MINUTES: A motion was made to approve the minutes of the May meeting by Aldo Dusman, seconded by Clayton Andrus. All in favor. So carried.
A motion was made to close the regular meeting and open the public hearing for Barbara Moore’s boundary line change by Nancy Sperry, seconded by Jennifer Phillips. All in favor. So carried.
BARBARA A. MOORE: Robert Ihlenburg, surveyor, representing Mrs. Moore presented the maps for a boundary line change on County Route 33. Mrs. Moore is seeking to decrease her 21-acre parcel by two acres and annex it to Raymond and Jennifer Staats increasing their acreage to four acres. The applicant’s representative submitted the certified mail receipts, the maps were in order and there was no one present to speak for or against this action. The board had no further questions.
Nancy Sperry made a motion to close the public hearing, seconded by Jennifer Phillips and open the regular meeting.
A review of the SEQRA was made and a motion was made by Clayton Andrus, seconded by Nancy Sperry to declare a negative declaration on this action. All in favor. So carried.
A motion was made to approve the boundary line change by Barbara Moore as presented by Nancy Sperry, seconded by Thomas Jantzen. All in favor. So carried.
There will be two seminars on Wednesday, June 22nd at Columbia Greene Community College from 5:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M.
With no other business to come before the board, a motion was made by Nancy Sperry, seconded by Clayton Andrus to close the meeting at 7:45 P.M. All in favor. So carried.
