TOWN OF CLERMONT
BUDGET WORKSHOP
SEPTEMBER 19, 2011
The Town Board held a special meeting and budget workshop on Monday, September 19, 2011 at 6:00 P.M. at the Town Hall. Those present were Supervisor Staats, Councilwoman O’Neal, Councilman Desmond, Councilman Jones and Councilwoman Moore. Charles Larsen was also present.
Supervisor Staats opened the budget workshop. Each appropriation and revenue account was discussed for the General and Highway funds.
The salaries for 2012 were proposed as follows:
Town Council $ 2,500.00 each
Supervisor $ 5,500.00
Tax Collector $ 4,000.00
Justices $ 5,145.00 each
Court Clerk $ 172.50 per month each
Budget Officer $ 300.00
Assessor $14,750.00
Town Clerk $ 6,500.00
Custodian $ 1,600.00
Superintendent $45,320.00
Highway FT $ 17.37 hr.
Highway PT $ 11.00 hr.
There were no changes in the Planning, Zoning Board or Building Inspector salaries. Supervisor Staats will complete the tentative budget and present for the Town Board on the October 3rd meeting.
The workshop was adjourned at 8:20 P.M. There was no other business brought before the board.
