CLERMONT FIRE COMMISSIONERS

SPECIAL MEETING

JANUARY 10, 2012

The Clermont Fire Commissioners held a special meeting on Tuesday, January 10, 2012 at 7:00 P.M. to open bids for the 2012 Rescue/Brush truck. Those in attendance were Commissioner Charles Larsen, Commissioner Laurence Saulpaugh and Commissioner Raymond Bauer. Chairman Mark Schiller and Commissioner Harry Harned were absent. Others present were Chief Ronald Rifenburgh, 1^st Lieutenant Fred Gooderham and Richard Shakerly of VRS Sales.

In the absence of Chairman Schiller, Deputy Chairman Larsen opened the meeting with the salute to the flag.

The following are the bids that were submitted:

1. Tyler Fire Equipment $192,380.00
2. Maintainer Custom Bodies $189,735.00
3. Fouts Brothers $199,945.00
4. Swab Body Company $211,930.00

Several of these bids have add on’s which are not included in the above quoted price. The bids will be compared to the specs by the end of the month by the Chief, Commissioner Bauer and Commissioner Saulpaugh.

A motion was made to adjourn at 7:10 P.M. by Commissioner Bauer, seconded by Commissioner Bauer.
