Charlie Larsen is representing the parties and will be attending the Germantown Planning Board on April 12th to find out what has actually been filed with them on this proposal and how they will proceed. Our attorney has written to them requesting copies of subdivision approval, maps, minutes or resolutions pertaining to this action. Also, that in the future, any further action on this subdivision or any other, which is in the Town of Germantown and the Town of Clermont be sent to the Clermont Planning Board for review.
Chairman Saulpaugh was asked by Sean Gillard, who lives on County Route 6, Tax Map ID#191.-1-1-56 and 57, if he were to buy 5.63 acres and the former Steeneck cold storage building- Tax Map ID#191.-1-1-32, if he would be able to subdivide 2 acres with the cold storage building, and merge the remaining three acres to his acreage of 3.90 acres. It would require 300 feet of road frontage, which there may not be, so he would have to leave a 25 foot strip for access. It is believed that he may have already been approved for an area variance for a side yard setback some years ago.
There is a training session on May 23rd in Cairo on subdivision review and land use tools for walkable communities from 5:00 P.M. to 9:15 P.M. for four credits.
There was no other business to come before the board.
A motion was made by Clayton Andrus to adjourn at 8:00 P.M., seconded by Brenda Case. All in favor. So carried.
Respectfully submitted,
Mary Helen Shannon
