CLERMONT FIRE COMMISSIONERS

BUDGET PUBLIC HEARING

The Clermont Fire Commissioners held the public hearing on the 2014 Fire District Budget at 7:00 P.M. at the Town Hall. Those in attendance were Chairman Mark Schiller, Commissioner Raymond Bauer, Commissioner Susan Rifenburgh and Commissioner Laurence Saulpaugh. Commissioner Harry Harned was absent. Also present were Chief Ronald Rifenburgh, Captain Fred Gooderham, Treasurer Denise Fiore and Robert Desmond.

The proposed budget calls for appropriations of $165,865.00 less $11,000 unexpended balance. The amount to be raised by taxes is $154,865.00. There was only one question from Robert Desmond, who asked what the difference is from last year’s budget? The 2014 budget is $6.00 less than last year. There were no other questions or comments from anyone present.

A motion was made to close the public hearing by Commissioner Rifenburgh, seconded by Commissioner Bauer. All in favor. So carried.
