The Clermont Planning Board meeting for Wednesday January 12 has been cancelled as a precaution due to Covid.

The Town of Clermont has received a very few number of test kits for testing infection of the covid-19 virus. There are two tests in each kit. These may be picked up during normal Town Hall hours, One kit per family/household due to the small number available.

There are also additional masks available that may also be picked up during normal Town Hall hours.

The Clermont Town Board will hold a meeting, Saturday January 15, 2022 at 10AM to review the books of the Supervisor, Town Clerk, Tax Collector and Justices for the year 2021.  The Town Board will also review the town policies and address any additional business brought before  the  board.  By Tracey J Gallant, Town Clerk

Notice is hereby given the Preliminary Budget of the Town of Clermont for the year beginning January 1, 2022 has been completed and filed in the Office of the Town Clerk, 1795 Route 9, Clermont, where it is available for inspection by any interested persons, during regular Town Clerk hours. Further notice is given that the Town Board of the Town of Clermont will hold a public hearing at 6:55 PM on Monday, November 1st, 2021 prior to the regular Town Board meeting. At the public hearing any person may be heard in favor of or against any item or items therein contained. Pursuant to Town Law, the proposed salaries are hereby specified as follows: Supervisor, $5,600; Town Council (4), $2,600 ea; Town Clerk, $7,100; Town Justice (2), $5,700 ea; Tax Collector, $4,700; Superintendent of Highways, $52,316; Code Enforcement Officer/Building Inspector, $15,000;Assessor, $15,575.

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE  that a public hearing will be held by The Clermont Town Board on Monday November 1st, 2021 at 6:45 PM at the Clermont Town Hall 1795 Route 9, Germantown, NY 12526. At that time, all interested persons on the proposed local law No. 1 of 2021 opting out of allowing cannabis retail dispensaries and on-site consumption sites as authorized under Cannabis Law Article 4 will be given an opportunity to be heard in person.  

PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that a copy of the proposed law is available for review in the Town Clerk’s office at 1795 Route 9, Germantown, NY 12526 during regular business hours.
