  1. Call Meeting to Order 6:30PM Supervisor Raymond Staats with the Pledge of Allegiance. Those presents were Supervisor Staats, Councilman Robert Desmond, Councilman Kris Gildersleeve, Councilwoman Dawn Brownson. Councilwoman Lusher Shute was not in attendance.
  1. Committee Reports
    • Councilman Desmond-Flooding reported on both Buckwheat Bridge Road and Ford Road in the most recent storm
    • Councilwoman Brownson-~ $5400 raised in the Park Fundraiser, Fundraiser open until 12/31/23
    • Councilman Gildersleeve-Computer anti-virus available for download on town equipment.
    • Supervisor Staats-Fingar Insurance unable to attend for presentation, Quote provided was for $21,481 Increase of ~ $1200.00. Supervisor Staats will request that they come and present at the Organizational meeting.

NEW BUSINESS:

Supervisor Staats introduced the following Budget Amendments and Transfers to balance the accounts:

General Budget Amendment #1 of 2023 to balance accounts in the General Fund in the amount of $ 70,539.00 Motion made by Councilwoman Brownson, seconded by Councilman Desmond. All in favor. So carried.

Highway Budget Amendment #1 of 2023 to balance accounts in the Highway Fund in the amount of $ 109,574.00 Motion made by Councilman Gildersleeve, seconded by Councilwoman Brownson. All in favor. So carried

Motion To Pay Abstracts

  1. Motion to pay General abstract #13 Vouchers #331-345 $16358.12 By Councilwoman Brownson Seconded by Councilman Gildersleeve. All in Favor. So carried.
  2. Motion to pay Highway abstract #13 Vouchers # 148-157 $8,373.00 By Councilman Desmond Seconded by Councilwoman Brownson. All in Favor. So carried.
  3. Motion to pay Trust & Agency abstract #6 Voucher #13 $589.50 By Councilman Gildersleeve Seconded by Councilwoman Brownson. All in Favor. So carried.
  4. Motion to pay General Prepaid abstract #13A Vouchers #328-330 $556.44 By Councilman Gildersleeve Seconded by Councilwoman Brownson. All in Favor. So carried.

Resident and Comp Plan Committee Chairperson Mary Howard provided a reminder of Comprehensive Plan presentation on Tuesday, January 2nd 6PM and Public Hearing @ 6:30PM. Park Fundraising update amount $5431. Mary Howard provided match check in the amount of $5000 to Supervisor Staats.

Motion to adjourn at 6:54 PM by Councilman Gildersleeve Seconded by Councilwoman Brownson. All in Favor. So carried.

A motion was made to re-open the meeting at 7:08 PM for unattended business.

  • A motion was made by Councilman Desmond, seconded by Councilman Gildersleeve to transfer $50,000.00 to Highway Capital Reserve 9950.9 All in favor. So carried.

A motion was made to adjourn by Councilman Gildersleeve, seconded by Councilwoman Brownson at 7:09 P.M. All in favor. So carried.
