PUBLIC HEARING 2024 BUDGET

The Clermont Town Board held the 2024 Budget Public Hearing on Monday, November 6th, 2023 at 6:55 P.M. at the Town Hall.

Those in attendance were Supervisor Staats, Councilman Robert Desmond, Councilman Kris Gildersleeve, Councilwoman Dawn Brownson and Councilwoman Lindsey Lusher-Shute.

Supervisor Staats opened the public hearing for the 2024 Budget and read the 2024 budget Highlights.

Total Budget $942,217

General Budget $510,621

Highway Budget $431,596

Tax rate per thousand .30 Down from .36

2-3% Salary increases,

No tax increase 2024

Supervisor Staats opened up the floor for any comments or questions on the 2024 budget.

No public comments.

PUBLIC HEARING LOCAL LAW 3-2023

The Clermont Town Board held the Public Hearing for Local Law 3 of 2023-A local law establishing income levels for real property tax exemptions for volunteer firefighters and ambulance workers pursuant to 466-A of the Real Proper Tax Law on Monday, November 6th, 2023 at 6:51 P.M. at the Town Hall.

Those in attendance were Supervisor Staats, Councilman Kris Gildersleeve, Councilwoman Dawn Brownson and Councilwoman Lusher Shute. Councilman Desmond was not in attendance.

Supervisor Staats opened the public hearing and the Town Clerk read the Public Notice for the Local Law.

Public Hearing on Monday November 13th, 2023 starting at 7:00 PM at Town Hall. The purpose of the hearing is to receive public comments regarding the Draft Comprehensive Plan which is available here or from the Town Clerk during regular office hours. Additionally, written comments will be accepted until close of business on November 27, 2023.
