Notice is hereby given the Preliminary Budget of the Town of Clermont for the year beginning January 1, 2024 has been completed and filed in the Office of the Town Clerk, 1795 Route 9, Clermont, where it is available for inspection by any interested persons, during regular Town Clerk hours.  Further notice is given that the Town Board of the Town of Clermont will hold a public hearing at 6:55 PM on Monday, November 6th, 2023 prior to the regular Town Board meeting.  At the public hearing any person may be heard in favor of or against any item or items therein contained.  Pursuant to Town Law, the proposed salaries are hereby specified as follows: Supervisor, $5,800; Town Council (4), $2,700 ea; Town Clerk, $9,200; Town Justice (2), $5,900 ea; Tax Collector, $4,900; Superintendent of Highways, $56,580; Code Enforcement Officer/Building Inspector, $15,000;Assessor, $16,500.

THE CLERMONT TOWN CLERKS OFFICE WILL BE OPEN MONDAY OCTOBER 2ND 5PM TO 630 PM AND RESUME NORMAL HOURS THURSDAY, OCTOBER 5TH.

Zoning Board will be canceled for the month of September.

The Clermont Town Board will hold a budget workshop on Tuesday September 19th at 6:30pm at the Town Hall, 1795 Route 9. The board will discuss any other business which may come before the board. A second workshop will be held on Monday, September 25th at 6:30pm if necessary.  All interested parties are invited to attend.
