CLERMONT PLANNING BOARD
November 8, 2023
The Clermont Planning Board held its regular meeting on Wednesday, November 8, 2023 at 7:30pm at the Town Hall. Those in attendance were Larry Saulpaugh, Mary Howard, Jennifer Phillips, Tom Jantzen, Ron Miller, and Nathan Hempel.
After review of the October 11, 2023 minutes, motion was made by Mary Howard, seconded by Jennifer Phillips to approve the minutes as corrected. All in favor. So carried.
There was no old business.
There was no new business.
Mary Howard gave an update on the proposed Comprehensive Plan.
With no further business, a motion was made by Mary Howard, seconded by Jennifer Phillips, to adjourn. All in favor. So carried. The meeting adjourned at 8:10pm.

The Clermont Town Board held their regular monthly meeting on Monday November 6th, 2023 at the Town Hall. Those presents were Supervisor Staats, Councilman Robert Desmond, Councilman Kris Gildersleeve, Councilwoman Dawn Brownson and Councilwoman Lindsey Lusher Shute.
Clerk Report
Motion made to adopt Local Law 1 of 2023 by Councilman Gildersleeve, Seconded by Councilwoman Brownson, Town Board polled. All in favor. So Carried.
Motion made to adopt Local Law 2 of 2023 by Councilwoman Brownson, Seconded by Councilwoman Lusher Shute, Town Board polled. All in favor. So Carried.
Motion made to adopt Local Law 3 of 2023 by Councilman Desmond, Seconded by Councilwoman Lusher Shute, Town Board polled. All in favor. So Carried
Supervisor Staats read the Budget Highlights-Motion made to adopt 2024 budget by Councilman Desmond, Seconded by Councilwoman Lusher Shute. All in favor.
Surplus of old tractor when new tractor is functional. Motion to approve Councilman Gildersleeve, Seconded by Councilwoman Brownson
Public Communication/Comments to Board-
Comprehensive Plan-No invoice since August
Considerably less traffic on Commons Road with Stahl Bridge Closed
Will the sign out front be repaired/cleaned. Included in budget to be replaced.

Those in attendance were Supervisor Staats, Councilman Kris Gildersleeve, Councilwoman Dawn Brownson and Councilwoman Lusher Shute. Councilman Desmond was not in attendance.

The Clermont ZBA held its regular meeting on Wednesday, October 25, 2023 at 7:30pm at the Town Hall. The meeting started with a salute to the flag. Members attending were Luke Kumburis, Ben Peacock, Don Van Wagner, and Lee Gallant. In the absence of Hank Himelright, Luke Kumburis conducted the meeting.
Luke Kumburis asked if anyone had any additions, corrections or omissions to the minutes of the last meeting, August 23, 2023. A motion was made by Lee Gallant, seconded by Don Van Wagner, to approve the August 2023 minutes. All in favor. So carried.
Discussion was held regarding moving the date of The November 2023 meeting from November 22 to November 29 due to Thanksgiving. Motion was made by Lee Gallant, seconded by Don Van Wagner, to move the November 2023 to November 29, 2023. All in favor. So approved.
With no other business, motion was made by Don Van Wagner, seconded by Ben Peacock, to adjourn. The meeting adjourned at 7:45pm.

CLERMONT PLANNING BOARD
October 11, 2023
The Clermont Planning Board held its regular meeting on Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at 7:30pm at the Town Hall. Those in attendance were Larry Saulpaugh, Mary Howard, Jennifer Phillips, Tom Jantzen, Jesse Cutaia, and Nathan Hempel.
After review of the September 13, 2023 minutes, motion was made by Nathan Hempel, seconded by Tom Jantzen, to approve the minutes as correctioned. All in favor. So carried.
There was no old business.
Billy Cole, 3541 Route 9G, Clermont, Tax Map ID#190.-1-4, came before the Board seeking information regarding using Building #4 at the self storage units for a climate controlled environment. Spray foam insulation, radiant heat and air conditioning would be installed. He was referred to the ZBA for clarification of the proposed change. He will return to the Planning Board with further information.
With no further business, a motion was made by Mary Howard, seconded by Nathan Hempel, to adjourn. All in favor. So carried. The meeting adjourned at 8:10pm.

Monthly Meeting
October 2, 2023
The Clermont Town Board held their regular monthly meeting on Monday, October 2nd at the Town Hall. All Town Board members present.
Motion to accept Tentative Budget as Preliminary Budget of 2024 by Councilman Gildersleeve Seconded by Councilman Desmond. All in Favor. So Carried.
Public Hearing for Preliminary Budget will be held on Monday, November 6th at 6:55 PM, with General Town Board Meeting to immediately follow.

Park Committee appreciates the support of the Board.
Motion made to enter executive session by Councilman Gildersleeve Seconded by Councilwoman Lusher Shute at 7:29PM-No further business to be conducted after executive session.
Motion made to exit executive session by Councilman Gildersleeve Seconded by Councilman Desmond at 7:38PM. Motion to adjourn at 7:39PM by Councilman Gildersleeve Seconded by Councilman Desmond. All in Favor. So carried.
